Alpine has revealed A110 Future, the development mule for its third-generation A110, ahead of a Goodwood Festival of Speed premiere from 9 to 12 July. The third-generation A110 is set to be the world’s first true electric vehicle (EV) sportscar, underpinned by the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP).

The APP has been engineered around an advanced aluminium architecture with a 40/60 front:rear weight distribution, using 800V cell-to-pack technology and high energy density cells to reduce weight and charging time. A rear dual e-motor 3-in-1 e-axle with silicon carbide (SiC) inverter delivers torque and ultra-fast control, alongside full aluminium suspension and new integrated braking and steering systems.

Goodwood will also showcase the A290 electric hot hatch and A390, Alpine’s 470hp five-seat sport fastback. The Alpine Moment on 9 July will bring together A110 Future and landmark A110 heritage models, with an E20 Formula One car demonstration providing the finale.

BWT Alpine Formula One Team drivers Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto headline a five-strong driver presence, joined by Alpine Academy and reserve drivers Nina Gademan, Paul Aron and Alex Dunne. Daily driver talks, signing sessions and interactive simulators complete the brand’s stand.
