SiEngine Technology has licensed Arteris FlexNoC network-on-chip (NoC) interconnect IP for its next-generation automotive system-on-chip (SoC) platform, targeting intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) applications. The deal extends a multi-generation collaboration in which SiEngine has deployed Arteris technology across several previous automotive chip programmes.

As automotive architectures grow more software-defined and compute-intensive, SoCs face rising demands for on-chip data throughput, lower power consumption, and ISO 26262 functional safety compliance. FlexNoC 5 addresses these through physically aware interconnect IP designed to reduce routing congestion, improve timing closure, and support automotive safety objectives.

SiEngine is among China’s leading domestic automotive chip suppliers, with significant adoption in passenger vehicle intelligent cockpit systems. The company develops SoCs spanning autonomous driving and edge intelligence applications alongside cockpit systems.
