Brazil’s vehicle imports surge as Chinese brands drive growth

Brazil imported 340,855 light vehicles (LVs) between January and July 2026, according to data from the Brazilian Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA). If current sales trends continue, this could mark the highest quantity of foreign-made cars and pick-ups since 2014.
