Chevrolet has revealed the 2027 Silverado 1500, offering new 5.7L and 6.6L V8 engines, a fully digital interior and an all-new exterior design. The full-size pickup is expected on sale at the end of 2026 in seven trims, from the fleet-focused Work Truck to the off-road ZR2 and luxury High Country.

Four powertrain options are offered, led by the new naturally aspirated V8s alongside an enhanced 2.7L TurboMax now mated to a 10-speed transmission and the diesel Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel. The ZR2 off-road variant features 35-inch tyres, a 2-inch lift, front and rear electronic lockers and Multimatic DSSV dampers. ZR2’s cabin also introduces forged carbon-fibre trim—the first application of this material on ZR2 and GM’s first forged carbon décor.

Every trim receives a 16.3-inch centre display and 12.2-inch driver information centre as standard, with ZR2 and High Country adding a front passenger screen and head-up display, bringing more than 60 inches of total digital surface. Super Cruise hands-free driving technology with segment-exclusive trailering capability is available across the range.
