China decline offsets German OEMs’ Q2 sales growth
In the second quarter of 2026, Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes-Benz all either made sales gains or at least managed to stabilise losses in Europe and North America. However, their overall figures still trended negative across the board for the same, seemingly inescapable reason: losses in China.
