Toyota has launched 60th Anniversary special editions of the Corolla Hatchback, Touring Sports, and Sedan to mark six decades of the model, which has accumulated more than 57 million sales worldwide since its introduction in 1966. The limited editions are available to order now, with customer deliveries beginning at the end of October.

The Hatchback and Touring Sports are distinguished by an exclusive New Boreal Blue metallic paint in a bi-tone execution with a Night Sky Black roof and pillars, alongside 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with a contrast matt and machined finish. Exterior details include matt silver garnishes on the lower front bumper and side sills, dark-plated fog light ornaments, and 60th Anniversary decals on the lower rear door edges. The Sedan carries an alternative Lunar Sky Blue paint finish and shares most of the exterior styling elements, adding a matt silver highlight strip along the boot lid. Additional colour options across all three models include Platinum White Pearl and Ash Grey metallic.

Interior additions across the range run to matt silver scuff plates bearing the anniversary logo and black textile carpet mats with matt silver inserts. The 60th Anniversary models retain the standard Corolla specification, including fifth-generation Toyota hybrid technology — a 1.8-litre system producing 140hp on the Sedan and available on Hatchback and Touring Sports, with a 2.0-litre 178hp option on the latter two — alongside a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and Toyota Smart Connect+ with a 10.5-inch touchscreen.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the range, covering Pre-Collision System with Intersection Collision Avoidance, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Lane Trace Assist, Emergency Steering Assist, and Road Sign Assist, with functions updated over the air. The Corolla is currently manufactured at 12 locations worldwide and sold in 150 countries, with European production at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey since 1994 and Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK since 1998.
