EVs and BYD fuel Brazil’s car sales hot streak
Brazil's light vehicle (LV) market saw retail sales jump 24.1% year-on-year during Q2 2026, rising to 761,714 units, according to data from the National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution (FENABRAVE). This brings the country's H1 total to around 1.36 million, of which 79.9% were passenger cars and 20.1% light commercial vehicles.
