Honda hits pause on NA factory amid US-Canada trade war

Honda may ultimately decide against building an eighth factory in North America if USMCA trade disputes aren't resolved, said Executive Vice President Noriya Kaihara in Washington on 25 August. At a media roundtable, he added that a final decision would have to be made within two years, as the automaker wishes any prospective new facility to go live by 2030.
