Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has agreed a charging network integration partnership with Jio-bp, bringing the Hyundai Jio-bp combined total to 37,000+ charging points accessible through the myHyundai app. Jio-bp pulse contributes over 7,000 DC fast chargers across 300+ cities, with capacity from 60 kW to 480 kW and 96% uptime.

The myHyundai app is open to all EV users regardless of brand, providing a single platform to locate and access public charging points across India. HMIL’s proprietary network of 183 DC fast-charging stations is planned to expand to 600 by 2030, and will be progressively integrated into the Jio-bp pulse charge pro app.

Hyun Sup Lee, Executive Director, Corporate Planning at HMIL, said the partnership was a significant step towards strengthening India’s EV ecosystem. Lee described the move as addressing growing charging anxiety and simplifying the charging journey for Hyundai EV owners through access to a wider network of reliable charging solutions.

Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp, said India’s shift to electric mobility depended on building trust at scale, and the partnership with HMIL was a meaningful step in making clean mobility accessible. Akshay Wadhwa, CEO of Jio-bp, said the partnership made HMIL’s high-uptime charging network accessible directly through the app.
