
Reuters: GM to boost Indiana light-duty production amid tariffs
General Motors has told employees at its plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that it plans to ramp up its onsite production of light-duty trucks, according to a webcast sent to employees and seen by Reuters. The development comes one day after the US’ steep 25% tariffs on all car imports went into effect.
