TomTom and Transit Technologies have announced a partnership integrating TomTom Orbis Maps and Live Traffic into Transit Technologies’ platform, serving transit, paratransit and non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT) networks across the United States and Central America. The integration delivers real-time traffic awareness and high-precision map data for dynamically routing vehicles.

TomTom Orbis Maps provides a frequently updated, high-fidelity map layer built for fleet applications, while Live Traffic delivers real-time data on congestion, incidents and road changes. Combined, the two components enable Transit Technologies to dynamically adjust routes and improve on-time performance across networks where schedule reliability has a direct impact on rider welfare.

Transit Technologies provides software powering transit agency operations, serving networks that millions of daily riders depend on for reliable transportation. The partnership gives Transit Technologies’ clients more accurate routing based on real-world conditions rather than static assumptions.
