
US auto manufacturing fell 1.9% in April, tariffs to blame
The federal reserve has shared that overall US manufacturing fell by 0.4% in April, reversing the 0.4% gains it experienced in March, and likely as a result of the US’ erratic foreign trade policies. Driving the decline was a sharp 1.9% drop in vehicle and automotive parts production.
