Autocrypt has been appointed exclusive South Korean partner for Elektrobit, an automotive software firm with technology deployed across more than 600 million vehicles worldwide. The agreement combines Autocrypt’s cybersecurity expertise with Elektrobit’s software-defined vehicle platform covering AUTOSAR, vehicle operating systems, and high-performance computing.

Elektrobit, headquartered in Germany and a subsidiary of Aumovio, has more than 35 years of automotive software experience and has achieved five consecutive years of revenue growth in South Korea. Its portfolio spans AUTOSAR, vehicle operating systems, digital cockpit systems, and high-performance computing platforms.

Autocrypt supports compliance with UNECE WP.29 regulations UN R155 and UN R156 across automotive cybersecurity engineering, security validation, and managed security operations. The firm has delivered projects for more than 220 customers worldwide.

The two firms will jointly showcase their technologies at the 2026 Automotive Innovation Day in Suwon on 1 July. The event marks the first public demonstration of the partnership.
