Changan Automobile has launched the second-generation UNI-S in Saudi Arabia, the model’s second market entry following South Africa as part of a staged rollout across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Further Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) launches are planned in the coming months.

The cabin is redesigned around a 14.6-inch touchscreen on the MediaTek 8675 chip, with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Arabic voice commands standard. Advanced driver assistance features include lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert and remote parking.

A Queen’s Seat with zero-gravity positioning, eight-point massage and a 60° leg rest is standard across all variants. A six-mode terrain system covers dedicated snow, mud and sand settings alongside 256-colour ambient lighting and an eight-speaker audio system.

Changan’s MEA sales have exceeded 500,000 vehicles, with distribution across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait. The UNI-S joins a line-up including the CS75 Plus, UNI-T and UNI-K.
