Cinemo has partnered with Hyundai Motor Group to provide in-car music streaming across select Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis vehicles via its Core Online and Live Service platforms. Amazon Music, SoundCloud and Spotify are available directly through the vehicle infotainment system.

Core Online provides a unified interface for multiple streaming services without requiring a bespoke embedded application for each provider. Live Service delivers content directly from the cloud, keeping each service current through continuous background monitoring.

The agreement addresses a structural challenge in connected vehicle infotainment: how to keep third-party streaming services current without hardware replacement. Cinemo’s cloud-managed approach separates content delivery from the vehicle’s underlying software cycle.

Jaeok Lee, Vice President and Head of Hyundai Motor Group Infotainment Development Centre, said the partnership would extend access to popular streaming services across all three brands. Lee described Cinemo’s understanding of automotive consumer demand as a key factor in the selection.

Elif Ede, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Asia-Pacific, Cinemo, said the cooperation aimed to develop the vehicle into a connected media platform for customers across the three brands. The agreement extends Cinemo’s automotive infotainment presence as cloud-based content delivery becomes an established sector requirement.
