Cofiroute, a division of Vinci Autoroutes and one of France’s leading private motorway operators, has selected TomTom Traffic to support real-time traffic operations and driver information across its motorway network. The deployment centres on TomTom Route Monitoring, which provides live traffic condition data to support incident management and feed variable message sign boards, websites, mobile applications, and other public communications channels.

“TomTom’s highly reliable traffic technology gives our teams a clear view of traffic conditions in real time, helping us manage incidents efficiently and communicate more effectively with drivers,” said Jérôme Pasteau, head of traffic safety solutions at Cofiroute. TomTom described the agreement as a continuation of an existing collaboration with the operator.
