Geldhauser Linien- und Reiseverkehr has taken delivery of ten Setra S 515 LE low-entry buses from the MultiClass range. Nine of the vehicles, each equipped with 45 seats, will operate on routes in the district of Starnberg on behalf of Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (MVV). A tenth, configured with 43 seats and an extended special-use area, will join the Alpenbus fleet on a new express service connecting towns south of Munich — including Murnau, Penzberg, Bad Tölz, Miesbach, and Rosenheim — along the Alpine corridor without routing via the metropolitan area.

All ten vehicles are equipped with Sideguard Assist 2, a driver assistance system that monitors both sides of the vehicle during turning and lane-change manoeuvres and alerts the driver to moving obstacles within the system’s detection range. Founded in 1962 and based in Hofolding, Geldhauser operates a fleet of 890 vehicles and serves MVV alongside municipalities, companies, associations, and schools across the region.
