Alpine has ended production of the second-generation A110 at its Dieppe factory, with the final car, an A110 R 70 in Bleu Alpine, marking the close of a run of 28,701 units since the model’s 2017 relaunch. Total A110 production at Dieppe since 1969 now stands at 35,450 cars, with more than 58% delivered in a shade of blue.

The Dieppe site, formally named the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé, is now being prepared for the third-generation A110, which will be built on the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP). The incoming model aims to be the first fully electric sports car in its class, with the factory undergoing investment in new tooling and industrial processes to accommodate the transition.

The final second-generation car is also the most concentrated expression of the A110 R lineage, featuring extensive carbon fibre, a 300 hp engine and a chassis tuned for circuit use. Its production coincides with Alpine’s 70th anniversary, founded by Jean Rédélé in Dieppe on 22 June 1955.

The A110’s Bleu Alpine colour, which accounts for 33% of all cars produced, originated not from national racing colours but from a customer order placed in the early 1960s. The shade became the brand’s signature and is referenced internally as colour code 331.
