Dodge has added its Redeye exterior colour to the 2027 Durango lineup, bringing the bright crimson finish to the three-row muscle SUV for the first time after previously reserving it for the Charger. The colour is available across the entire HEMI-powered Durango range, including the GT HEMI, R/T 392, SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, at a US$595 MSRP.

Redeye joins Durango’s existing seven-colour palette, which includes B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Green Machine, Night Moves, Pitch Black, Red Oxide and White Knuckle. Matt McAlear, chief executive of Dodge, said colour choice is one of the most powerful ways customers connect with their vehicles, giving Durango buyers another way to add Dodge’s distinctive attitude straight from the factory.

Dodge said the Durango remains the only V8-powered lineup in its segment, spanning the 360-horsepower GT HEMI with its 5.7-litre V8, the 475-horsepower R/T 392 with a 6.4-litre V8, and the 710-horsepower SRT Hellcat and Hellcat Jailbreak, powered by a supercharged 6.2-litre V8. The automaker said the GT HEMI remains the most affordable all-wheel-drive V8 vehicle in the industry, while the SRT Hellcat is the most powerful production petrol SUV.

Dodge plans to reveal more colour news for the Durango and its wider lineup at the Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge press event, set for 7-8 August at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. Redeye is open for orders now on the 2027 Durango.
