Inspiration Mobility Group has acquired select assets of Electrada, a commercial fleet electrification business, with the acquired team, technology and project pipeline joining Inspiration Energy, Inspiration’s charging infrastructure and energy management subsidiary. The acquisition expands Inspiration Energy’s Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) capabilities and customer reach across the full electric vehicle fleet lifecycle.

Founded in 2020, Electrada has served public agencies, Fortune 500 companies and institutional customers across more than 375 depots in the United States, achieving more than 99% electric fuel uptime and powering more than 10 million clean miles annually. Its fleet portfolio spans passenger vehicles through to Class 8 tractor-trailers.

In a statement, Kevin Kushman, Chief Executive, Electrada, said: “Inspiration is the natural home for what Electrada has built. Electrada’s depth in utility coordination, distributed power, and depot energy management means fleet operators aren’t just getting charging infrastructure; they’re getting an energy programme architected to structurally reduce and stabilise their fuel costs.”
