FocalPoint and STMicroelectronics have agreed a commercial deal combining FocalPoint’s S-GNSS® Auto software with Teseo hardware to improve Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reliability in challenging automotive environments. Delivered as a firmware upgrade to Teseo devices, the joint solution targets OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers developing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and connected vehicle platforms.

The deal advances a collaboration announced in May 2025, with the two companies now bringing S-GNSS Auto and Teseo to a full commercial offering. The agreement also makes FocalPoint an ST Authorised Partner, deepening the commercial relationship between the two firms.

The joint solution is powered by FocalPoint’s patented Supercorrelation® technology and has demonstrated significant accuracy improvements in multipath and signal-degraded conditions across rigorous global trials, consistently outperforming standard commercial-grade solutions. The platform is advancing toward commercial deployment in both current and upcoming OEM platforms.

Urban canyons, tree-lined roads and other environments where satellite signal is obstructed or reflected represent persistent GNSS challenges for ADAS and autonomous driving applications. The Teseo-based solution specifically addresses these scenarios, with the Precise+® technology roadmap targeting sub-metre GNSS accuracy in urban and obstructed environments as FocalPoint and STMicroelectronics expand the joint offering.
