India’s peer-to-peer car-sharing marketplace Zoomcar Holdings reported 10 consecutive quarters of positive contribution profit for the fiscal year ended March 2026, with shareholder net loss narrowing 43% to US$14.62m. The company cut performance marketing spend by two-thirds and accepted 8% fewer bookings, with contribution profit per booking rising 30% to US$12.94.

Contribution profit rose 19% to US$5.07m, representing 55% of net revenue and 800 basis points above the prior year. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) loss narrowed 47% to US$5.22m from US$9.91m, and loss from operations improved 35% to US$6.77m.

Repeat users accounted for 51% of all bookings, a rate sustained for more than six consecutive quarters, with average guest trip rating rising to 4.77 from 4.69. Hosts rated 4.5 or above grew 7%, and the platform records approximately 700,000 monthly rental sessions without performance marketing spend.

Cost of revenue fell 16% to US$4.43m, lifting gross profit 24% to US$4.73m on essentially flat net revenue of US$9.16m. Finance costs declined 63% to US$3.18m, and gross booking value held flat at US$25.27m.

Zoomcar is actively raising growth capital, has launched a warrant exchange tender offer to simplify its capital structure, and has engaged an investment bank for a potential uplist to a major US exchange. Debt restructuring remains ongoing as the company targets positive net worth on minimal cash burn.
