Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) has launched a new Canter Extra Long Bus through its Indonesian distributor, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 in Jakarta. Based on the Canter platform, the bus features a 4.2-metre wheelbase, aimed at tourism operators, public transport providers and intercity services.

KTB also showcased four other vehicles at the show, including the battery-electric eCanter, the light-duty Canter FE 84G, the medium-duty Fighter X FM65F Tractor Head 4×2 and the Fighter X FN61FSL Logistic Package. Fuso said the line-up reflected demand across a broad range of commercial applications in Indonesia.

Alongside the new bus, MFTBC introduced after-sales initiatives to advance its “Zero Down Time” approach, including 24-hour service support at key locations, dedicated service facilities closer to customer operations and expanded spare parts availability to help manage maintenance costs while preserving vehicle reliability. The company said the measures were intended to improve uptime and operational efficiency for fleet customers.

MFTBC operates within the Archion Group, formed from the merger of Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso, and serves customers in approximately 170 countries and regions from production sites in Japan and Portugal. The Fuso brand traces its origins to 1932, when the name was chosen through an internal employee competition for a newly built bus.
