Hankook will present tyre innovations for commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, alongside its portfolio for truck, trailer and bus applications. The company will showcase new trailer and winter tyres at stand E09, hall 11, developed to meet demand for cost-efficiency and safety in freight transport.

The stand will also feature Hankook’s wider tyre range, including the Smart Line series for long-distance transport, Smart Flex for regional use and e-Smart City for electric buses. The range is complemented by Laufenn trailer tyres and the Alphatread retread solution.

Hankook will present its ‘Hankook Smart Fleet’ tyre management system alongside services aimed at lowering fleets’ total cost of ownership and cutting energy use and CO₂ emissions. Two exhibits from its Design Innovation Project will also be shown: a 3D-printed ‘Sustainable Concept Tire’ and the ‘WheelBot 2’ robotic platform.

The company is also expanding European production, investing in a new truck and bus tyre line at its Hungary plant with capacity for up to 800,000 tyres a year. Hankook said the plant would shorten delivery routes and improve supply security for European customers.

Hankook will hold a press conference on 14 September at its booth in hall 11. In a statement, Jongho Park, president and chief operating officer of Hankook Tire Europe, said: ‘IAA Transportation is an important platform to present our latest innovations and strengthen dialogue with customers and partners.’
