Here Technologies and Esri have signed a three-year agreement to develop geospatial analytics and visualisation capabilities for AI and agentic workflows. Expanding a partnership that spans more than 20 years, the deal brings together Here’s map, traffic and mobility data with Esri’s ArcGIS geospatial platform to help engineering teams and AI systems access and analyse location data at scale.

The combined capabilities are designed to make live and historical location data more accessible within existing ArcGIS environments, reducing the complexity of integrating geospatial information across AI-driven workflows. Target sectors include transportation and logistics, public sector, automotive and high technology.

Here Technologies introduced the Here GIS Data Suite in 2025 as a curated dataset designed for ArcGIS environments. The suite provides a foundational layer for the joint analytics capabilities the companies plan to develop, and is intended to help organisations move from raw geospatial data to actionable insights for planning, operations and decision-making.

The agreement reflects growing demand from customers exploring AI applications and seeking more effective means of integrating large volumes of location data. As agentic workflows become more prevalent, access to authoritative, real-time geospatial content is emerging as a meaningful constraint on how AI systems reason about the physical world.
