Here Technologies has partnered with payment infrastructure firm Cariqa to integrate electric vehicle (EV) charging discovery and payment into its Here WeGo navigation app, giving European drivers a single flow from route planning to transaction. The deal addresses a longstanding gap between navigation and payment in public EV charging.

Through Here WeGo, drivers can locate participating chargers, view pricing set by charge point operators (CPOs) and pay via Cariqa’s web platform without a separate account or service card. CPOs gain a new distribution channel within the navigation flow, with operator-set prices and no reseller markup.

In a statement, Issam Tidjani, Chief Executive and co-founder of Cariqa, said: “For Cariqa CPOs, this partnership opens up a new, high-intent channel to reach drivers at the exact moment they’re deciding where to charge. By bringing Cariqa into HERE WeGo, operators can surface their infrastructure and pricing directly within the navigation experience, without losing control over their commercial strategy. It’s a simple way to connect supply with real demand, while keeping pricing transparent and consistent.”
