Kia has released teaser images and video of the Kia PV7, its second dedicated all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model, ahead of a world premiere at IAA Transportation in Hannover on 14 September 2026. The PV7 extends Kia’s PBV range into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, adding larger-format capability beyond the existing PV5.

The PV7 is built on Kia’s E-GMP.S dedicated electric platform, the architecture underpinning the PBV lineup. Teaser imagery shows a one-box profile with robust proportions, a black hood and pillar garnish contrasting with body colour, and Kia’s signature front and rear lamp graphics.

IAA Transportation will also see Kia display a range of PV5 derivatives, illustrating how the E-GMP.S platform scales across body styles and commercial applications. The show runs at Hannover Messe from 14 to 20 September, with press day on 14 September.

Kia introduced the PV5 as its first dedicated PBV model; the PV7 is the platform’s first extension into the larger LCV segment.
