Nissan claims it has solved multiple problems in its development process by adopting approaches learned from the Chinese, especially its long-term partner in the country, Dongfeng. Nissan has taken Dongfeng’s practices for the Nissan N7, N8 and NX8, which were developed by the Nissan-Dongfeng joint venture, and applied these to its Japanese operations.
