MAN Truck & Bus has deployed five fully electric eTGX trucks with logistics partner JS Logistics on cross-border inbound routes between Hungary and Germany, marking the first use of the model in supplier parts transport. Routes reach 520 km per leg, with two trucks swapping trailers en route to manage range on the longest corridor.

Three further eTGX trucks operate via the Kirkel logistics centre in Germany, serving consolidated freight from France, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Ireland to MAN’s Munich and Nuremberg plants. The five vehicles were handed over at the MAN Truck Forum in Munich in June 2026.

The deployment forms part of MAN’s inbound decarbonisation programme, active since autumn 2024, with a target of around 50 battery-electric trucks in inbound service by mid-2026. The network covers up to 165 million km per year across Europe.
