MAN Truck & Bus is marking the tenth anniversary of the MAN TGE with the launch of a market-specific “10 Years Edition,” now available to order across participating markets. The van made its world premiere at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover in 2016, entering the 3.0 to 5.5 tonne gross vehicle weight segment and extending MAN’s lineup from vans to heavy trucks.

Series production began at the Września plant in Poland in spring 2017, with a gradual European rollout following. The TGE was offered from early on in a wide range of body configurations, including panel vans across two wheelbases and three roof heights, and chassis cabs in single and double cab form. MAN transferred elements from its truck business into the van segment from the outset, including its MAN Individual customisation programme and bodybuilder management structure. The 100,000-unit production milestone was reached in 2023.

The model received a significant update with the 2025 model year, designated “Next Level,” introducing a new electronic architecture, revised driver assistance systems, and a redesigned cockpit. The updated TGE was subsequently awarded “Sustainable Van of the Year 2026” by Italian trade publisher Vado e Torno Edizioni.

Annual sales exceeded 30,000 units in 2025. The “10 Years Edition” special model features “10 Years Edition” badging on the radiator grille and steering wheel, with each participating market configuring its own equipment package around locally relevant specifications.
