BMW Group is marking 25 years of modern Mini production at its Oxford plant with the Mini Cooper Oxford Edition, a special edition of the three-door Cooper available in Cooper C and Cooper S variants. The Oxford site has produced the modern Mini since 2001, on the same grounds where the original Mini entered production in 1959.

The exterior carries a Union Jack graphic on a white contrast roof, with a central red and white stripe running the length of the vehicle. Three body colours are offered: Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue and Blazing Blue. White mirror caps and 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone wheels with edition-specific hub and valve cap covers complete the exterior treatment.

Inside, Union Jack detailing continues on the steering wheel and driver-side floor mat, while the passenger-side mat carries a chequered flag reference to Mini’s motorsport history. Unique door sills mark the 25-year anniversary at entry and exit. The edition is distinct from the long-established Oxford Edition sold in the US market and carries no connection to it.

BMW Group has also introduced an Oxford Capsule lifestyle range alongside the vehicle, including bags, clothing and accessories finished in dark blue with Union Jack details. The release continues Mini’s strategy of territory-specific and anniversary-led special editions, following previous launches including the Mini Paul Smith Edition and the Mini 1965 Victory Edition.
