Pony.ai and Uber have expanded their strategic partnership to deploy more than 2,000 Pony.ai robotaxis across Europe, building on their existing commercial service in Zagreb. The rollout will extend to four more European cities, with additional plans to expand into the Middle East.

The joint-deployment model combines Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving technology, a mobility platform and fleet operations, with roles shared between partners. Pony.ai supplies the L4 technology, Uber provides platform access, and local fleet partners handle daily operations.
