SANY Group has shipped its first batch of SKT110Ei pure-electric SANY autonomous mining trucks to South America, marking the company’s first autonomous mining project in Latin America. The project covers an autonomous truck fleet, an intelligent dispatching system and lifecycle operations and maintenance services, with the solution tailored to the customer’s local operating conditions.

The SKT110Ei is equipped with SANY’s fully in-house-developed autonomous driving system, designed for high reliability and low energy consumption in demanding mine conditions. The solution integrates autonomous trucks, roadside infrastructure and cloud-based dispatching, addressing mining industry challenges including haulage safety, skilled operator shortages and rising labour costs.

At SANY Group Mining Summit 2026, the company also unveiled its first cabless pure-electric mining truck, which supports ultra-fast charging via a liquid-cooled dual-gun system. The truck offers three operating modes: on-site takeover, remote takeover and fully autonomous driving, to accommodate a wide range of mine-site requirements.

SANY Intelligent Mining, a subsidiary of SANY International, had deployed more than 300 autonomous mining trucks globally as of July 2026. These fleets had logged more than 13 million kilometres of safe operation and transported over 41 million cubic metres of earth and rock across demanding operating conditions.
