SUSTAINera extends reman portfolio to electric and hybri
SUSTAINera, the Stellantis division focused on circular economy initiatives, has announced an expansion of its remanufactured parts portfolio to cover electric and hybrid vehicles, and introduced what it claims is the global aftermarket’s first remanufactured NOx sensor. The new products will be showcased at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, running 8–12 September at Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
The portfolio extension covers three components: an electrified double clutch transmission (e-DCT) for mild hybrid vehicles, an electrically driven air conditioning compressor previously exclusive to combustion engine models, and high voltage batteries for most Stellantis battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Each unit is tested and validated to restore original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

The first-to-market NOx sensor, developed with Valeo, follows the industry’s first remanufactured LED headlamp the same partnership produced in 2025. The sensor monitors nitrogen oxides and oxygen in a vehicle’s exhaust, and the remanufactured unit uses a new probe calibrated to OEM procedures.
SUSTAINera says remanufactured parts save up to 80% of raw materials and reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 40% compared with new components, based on a life-cycle assessment conducted under Sphera-approved methodology. All remanufactured parts carry the same performance warranty as new MOPAR parts.
