Tesla once again defers robotaxi scale, this time to FSD v15
Tesla struck an oddly split tone on robotaxis during its 22 July second-quarter earnings call, claiming genuine technical progress by way of Full Self-Driving v15 beta deployment in its fleets, while simultaneously lowering expectations for how fast that progress will actually translate into any meaningful scale. Shares fell as much as 13% in the call’s aftermath, marking the automaker’s steepest one-day drop in more than a year.
