Tier IV will exhibit at Automotive World 2026 at Makuhari Messe in greater Tokyo from 9 to 11 September, presenting three demonstrations spanning advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), AI model development, and chip design for autonomous driving. The company occupies stand A3-52 in the COVESA Special Exhibition Area.

The first demonstration covers Vision Pilot, an Autoware Foundation open-source ADAS application using end-to-end (E2E) AI, integrated with Renesas’ R-Car X5H automotive system-on-chip for Level 2 applications. Developed in collaboration with Renesas, the integration forms part of an AI-native computing platform for software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

The second demonstration will present Tier IV’s Co-MLOps platform, covering an E2E AI development workflow that includes data search, automated labelling, and data generation. A reference E2E AI model, built autonomously using agentic AI from auto-generated driving data, will be shown running on Nvidia’s Jetson Orin, performing bird’s-eye-view perception and trajectory generation using cameras only.

The third exhibit is a prototype chip for autonomous driving that improves the power efficiency of LiDAR point cloud processing, developed under a project funded by Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation. Tier IV’s objective is to provide computing platforms that support the mass production of autonomous driving systems for passenger vehicles and the broader deployment of SDV computing solutions.
