Valeo targets truck ADAS and last-mile at IAA 2026

Valeo is presenting commercial truck technologies at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover from 14 to 20 September, spanning electrification, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) up to level 4 and the Cyclee last-mile electric mobility system. The show is held at Hanover Messe, Hall 20, Booth 30.

On electrification, Valeo highlights the EDC-120 electric compressor with integrated inverter, designed for electric bus and truck segments. Smart heat pumps, a High Voltage Coolant Heater, inverters and on-board chargers complete the powertrain portfolio.

For ADAS and software-defined vehicle (SDV) applications, Valeo presents the Truck Valeo Smart Safety 360 (VSS360) computing platform alongside Valeo anSWer, a software suite covering parking, AI-powered perception and cloud-connected feature updates for software-defined trucks. Sensor cleaning systems for LiDAR and cameras in harsh environments also feature.

The Cyclee by Valeo system targets last-mile delivery, connecting long-haul logistics to zero-emission urban transport. Its GO7 Gen4 Drive Unit pairs a 48V motor with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, delivering 130 Nm and 1,000W peak power for cargo loads up to 250 kg.

Valeo’s remanufacturing range now spans more than 6,000 references across starters, alternators, brake calipers, compressors and transmission parts. The REMAN 2.0 programme has extended into electronic and electrification components, targeting reuse of more than 80% of materials across the range.

Why this matters:

  • ADB extension targets commercial vehicles as a new growth vector.Bringing a proven consumer feature into trucks lets Valeo amortise existing R&D rather than developing glare-free lighting from scratch, a lower-risk path to new revenue.
  • Cyclee lets Valeo capture value across the full logistics chain.Extending into micro-mobility and last-mile delivery alongside its core truck business bets that fleet operators managing both long-haul and last-mile legs will value one supplier spanning the entire journey.
  • REMAN 2.0 signals a shift in what aftermarket parts need remanufacturing.Moving beyond starters and brake calipers into inverters and EDCs suggests Valeo expects the electrified vehicle parc to reach scale within its planning horizon.
