Vontier Corporation has acquired EKOS, a provider of cloud-connected fleet, fuel and electric vehicle (EV) management software, to deepen its fleet platform with an end-to-end solution for operators. EKOS gives fleet operators centralised visibility across fuel procurement, site monitoring, asset management, fuel card controls and EV charging infrastructure through a single interface.

EKOS currently supports more than 1.2 million vehicles across the US, and Vontier had already offered the platform as a preferred fuel management solution for its fleet customers before the deal. The acquisition also deepens that partnership, integrating EKOS’s platform with Vontier’s fuelling site equipment into a single scalable operating layer.

EKOS is headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina, while Vontier is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. EKOS describes its platform as unifying fleet operations, fuel management and EV charging into one system spanning bulk fuel procurement, maintenance scheduling, asset tracking and fuel card controls for commercial operators.
