Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV) is presenting five vehicle premieres and a new digital B2B ecosystem called Connect Pro at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, 15 to 20 September. The platform links vehicles, fleets, drivers and workshops to enable predictive maintenance and greater uptime for commercial fleet operators.

VWCV’s premiere line-up includes the new Caddy and Multivan, both updated as Generation special-edition models, alongside the long-wheelbase ID. Buzz Cargo, which adds a 4.4 m³ load bay and payload of up to 697 kg, with pre-sales due this autumn. The ABT California Ocean, a camper van developed with tuning specialist ABT, rounds off the debut line-up as a world premiere.

VWCV is also demonstrating autonomous transport capabilities developed with MOIA and Mobileye: the ID. Buzz AD for mobility services, and the ID. Buzz Cargo AD targeting urban deliveries and logistics. The duo addresses driver shortages and rising urban delivery costs through scalable, self-driving solutions.

On 14 September, professional driver Rainer Zietlow returns to Hanover to complete the ID. Buzz World Tour—almost 100,000 kilometres across 93 countries and six continents since 1 July 2025, verified by Guinness World Records as a new global record. The tour used a standard 86 kW/h battery with no engineering support and experienced no technical breakdowns, underscoring the reliability that underpins VWCV’s B2B pitch.
