Leapmotor has held a European media drive in Marbella for its B03X electric crossover, priced from €24,900 (approximately US$26,900), as the Chinese brand moves into Europe’s compact EV segment. Two variants are available: the Pro, with a 39.8 kW/h battery and 292 km WLTP range, and the ProMax stepping to 53.0 kW/h and 382 km.

The B03X measures 4,270 mm long and 1,810 mm wide, with a 2,605 mm wheelbase providing 947 mm of rear legroom and a flat-floor cabin. A 10-metre turning circle supports city manoeuvring, and an elevated seating position gives the vehicle SUV-style confidence.

Inside, a 14.6-inch touchscreen and 8.8-inch instrument cluster front the cabin, running Leap OS 4.0 Plus with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, both available wirelessly. Connectivity extends to the Leapmotor smartphone app, which enables remote climate control, charging scheduling and real-time vehicle monitoring.

Each B03X is equipped with Level 2 driver assistance as standard, using 14 sensors and cameras to support 21 functions including Traffic Jam Assist and Driver Fatigue Monitoring. Boot capacity stands at 510 litres, rising to 1,605 litres when the rear seats are folded, with a 105-litre waterproof compartment beneath the load floor.

In Europe, the B03X is sold through Leapmotor’s joint venture with Stellantis; orders opened in July 2026. At €24,900, the model enters below most European-produced compact EVs, testing market appetite for Chinese-branded electric vehicles.
