Applied Intuition has launched Dana, an agentic platform to accelerate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence applications in safety-critical machines including autonomous vehicles, construction equipment and mining machinery. The platform brings data management, simulation, training, evaluation and deployment into a unified interface accessible via natural language, APIs and enterprise tools.

Internal use has reduced critical phases of vehicle development from months to days, with development cycles running 20 times faster on average. Engineers moved from deployments once every few weeks to five to ten per day, and Applied Intuition rebuilt a major portion of its autonomy tools platform in six months.

Dana operates across three core stages: data curation, workflow orchestration and insights analysis. It processes sensor data for training and simulation, runs inference across autonomy models, evaluates safety-critical metrics and generates traceable results across every workflow stage.

Applied Intuition has granted early access to Isuzu Motors, which is using Dana to accelerate Level 4 autonomy for its commercial truck fleet, and to Komatsu, which is applying the platform to mining equipment development. Founded in 2017, Applied Intuition has worked alongside major OEMs and autonomy developers on physical AI since its founding.
