Accurate Technologies (ATI) has released Vision Data Analyser (VDA) 4.1, a major update to its measurement data format 4 (MDF4) analysis platform for OEM and Tier 1 automotive test engineering teams. The 18 new capabilities consolidate controller area network (CAN) and local interconnect network (LIN) bus trace viewing, multi-window layouts and team collaboration into a single MDF4 environment.

The CAN and LIN trace page lets automotive engineers inspect raw bus traffic alongside measured signals in a single application, removing a common context-switching step from powertrain and chassis test workflows. A dashboard page provides configurable gauges for test debrief sessions, while the forthcoming Vision Enterprise module will add centralised MDF4 file storage and metadata search.

VDA 4.1 is available immediately as a subscription licence for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. The update also incorporates more than 30 targeted bug fixes improving stability across calculated channels, MDF4 file handling and data export.
