FAW Trucks will present five vehicle models and nine in-house core assemblies at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, including three Cortron CS tractors in diesel and battery-electric configurations. The show runs 14 to 20 September at Stand B10, Hall 24, with the battery-electric variant built on an 800 V platform supporting CCS2 dual-connector charging of up to 1,000 A.

The diesel Cortron CS models feature in-house core assemblies that FAW Trucks says cut fuel consumption by 15%. The battery-electric variant adds a twin-motor e-axle achieving 94.5% peak transmission efficiency, with the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) offered as an optional upgrade to the standard CCS2 dual-connector interface.

The nine in-house assemblies on display include Power Domain units such as the GD300 and ER540, spanning conventional fuel, battery-electric and hydrogen applications. The stand is divided into four themed zones covering carbon reduction, zero-emission vehicles, ecosystem solutions and future technology.

FAW Trucks will exhibit alongside five ecosystem partners at the show, with the display intended to mark the company’s 70-year history while also demonstrating its transition from sole vehicle manufacturer to an integrated ‘products, services and ecosystem’ solutions provider. The company says it will continue developing independent powertrain and intelligent connectivity capabilities to broaden the international presence of Chinese commercial vehicles.
