Genesis has unveiled the Genesis GV90, its first full-size flagship electric SUV, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Available in GV90 Neolun and standard GV90 variants, it is built on the eMP platform exclusive to the Genesis flagship and carries a 123.5 kW/h battery with 490 kW combined output and a 3,245mm wheelbase.

The GV90 Neolun introduces the Neolun Arch Gate, the world’s first independently opening and closing hidden B-pillar coach door, alongside motorised 180-degree swivelling front seats. The vehicle’s 12-airbag system includes the world’s first Roof Airbag, designed to cover the roof glass entirely in a rollover event.

On a single charge, the GV90 achieves approximately 500 km (based on internal Genesis tests) and charges from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes using a 350 kW charger. The GV90 is also the first Hyundai Motor Group vehicle equipped with Dual E-LSD on both motors.

The cabin features a 23.6-inch OLED display and a 25-inch head-up display (HUD), alongside the Pleos Connect Android Automotive infotainment platform and Gleo AI. Also unveiled was the GV90 Neolun First Edition, a limited four-seat Executive Suite variant; Euisun Chung, Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group, described the GV90 as a new vision for luxury mobility.
