Mahle’s cooling module ensures reliable fast charging in both hot and cold conditions

Mahle chargeBIG is presenting a four-port alternating current (AC) charging terminal at Power2Drive 2026 in Munich, offering 22 kW per port and the ability to charge four vehicles simultaneously, developed with housing specialist Langmatz Energy. The terminal integrates payment and charging points into a single housing, with new leasing and lease-purchase financing options also available through BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.

Also at the show, Mahle chargeBIG is displaying the smallBOX PORTABLE mobile charging solution, updated with an integrated card reader for calibration-compliant billing on site, offering four charging points of 22 kW each without requiring permanent installation. Charging points can also be activated by QR code through the chargeBIG app.

The company is also showcasing a cable cooling module for fast-charging stations serving passenger cars and commercial vehicles, certified to both European and North American standards and operating across a temperature range of -35°C to +50°C. The system targets deployment at rest stops and truck stops.
