Mitsubishi Motors has announced an all-new Pajero cross-country SUV for a global debut this autumn, engineered for off-road performance across a wide range of terrain types and weather conditions. The model features a Multi Meter digital display derived from earlier Pajero generations, offering real-time data on vehicle dynamics and environmental conditions.

The Multi Meter presents altitude, compass heading, ambient temperature, pitch and roll angles, and left-right torque distribution — live data streams giving drivers a continuous read on how the vehicle is handling its terrain. The system is intended for use across steep inclines, narrow forest trails, uneven rocky surfaces and muddy ground, covering the range of conditions most likely to test driver confidence.

Mitsubishi Motors describes the display as inherited and refined from earlier models, anchoring the new Pajero’s identity directly in the nameplate’s off-road heritage and established lineage. In a segment where crossover styling and lifestyle credentials have grown increasingly prominent, the automaker’s decision to lead with terrain-focused functional capability signals a clear strategic intent.

A teaser video and dedicated website have been released ahead of the autumn global debut. The vehicle carries the Montero name in some markets.
