Mitsubishi Motors has unveiled its all-new Pajero cross-country SUV, known as the Montero in some markets, confirming a world premiere this autumn ahead of its market launch. The Japanese automaker said the redesigned model combines authentic off-road capability with a refined, comfortable ride across a wide range of weather and road conditions.

The SUV adopts a robust ladder-frame chassis paired with a suspension system engineered for high road-holding performance. This combination delivers exceptional off-road capability, even over rough terrain with large bumps and significant impacts. On-road, the setup suppresses unwanted body movement and vibration on uneven surfaces, easing strain over long distances for all occupants.

Enhancing this further is Mitsubishi Motors’ Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) technology, an integrated vehicle dynamics control system that balances handling, off-road capability and stability across diverse driving conditions. The system works alongside the chassis and suspension to sharpen responsiveness, reinforcing the model’s all-terrain positioning.

To coincide with the announcement, Mitsubishi Motors has released new visual content on a dedicated website for the all-new Pajero, presented under the title “The Pajero is ready to write its next chapter.” The material highlights the suspension system’s contribution to the model’s driving performance, while inviting drivers to explore new terrain.
