Nexar and Nauto have agreed to merge, creating an independent driving intelligence platform covering more than 300 million miles per month across 50-plus countries and ten billion miles of cumulative history. Nexar Chief Executive Zach Greenberger will lead the combined company; Nauto founder Stefan Heck will chair its board.

The merged entity will serve autonomous system developers, fleet operators and insurers with real-world driving data independent of any single OEM. For developers, the scale provides edge cases no single manufacturer can replicate; for fleet operators, it is designed to predict incidents before they occur and convert historical events into operational intelligence.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

In a statement, Greenberger said: “By bringing together Nexar and Nauto, we are building the world’s largest and most diverse independent foundation for real-world intelligence.
