Qorix, a provider of automotive middleware for software-defined vehicles, has joined NASSCOM, India’s technology industry association for IT, engineering research and business process management. The move connects the company with more than 3,500 member firms, including OEMs, Global Capability Centres and technology leaders building India’s software-defined vehicle ecosystem.

Dheeraj Koshal, head of Qorix’s India Technical Centre, said the membership brings the company closer to India’s automotive ecosystem, with a focus on software-defined vehicles, connected mobility, artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. He added that leadership forums and talent-development programmes would help strengthen Qorix’s AI capabilities as its India team grows.

Markus Schupfner, chief executive of Qorix, said the membership reinforces the company’s commitment to India as a growth market and to building open, AI-based middleware alongside the local ecosystem. Qorix noted that global OEMs and suppliers are increasingly expanding engineering teams and Global Capability Centres in the country.

NASSCOM organises its work around four pillars: market access, innovation, talent development and policy advocacy, giving Qorix a structured route to engage with OEMs, GCCs and policy discussions on software-defined and AI-driven vehicles. Qorix Performance and Qorix Developer remain central to its stated goal of bringing software-defined vehicles to market faster.
