Suzuki Brunei Alto and Every debut with 660cc mini specs
Suzuki has launched the Alto and Every in Brunei through local distributor Boustead, marking the first time models from an overseas production base have matched Japanese mini-vehicle body size and 660cc engine specifications. The Suzuki Brunei launch was announced on 27 August at Boustead’s 50th anniversary ceremony as a Suzuki distributor.
Both Alto and Every are produced by Pak Suzuki Motor Company, Suzuki’s Pakistani subsidiary, and expand the Brunei lineup alongside existing models including the Jimny, Ertiga and Fronx. Boustead also announced it will begin selling Suzuki motorcycles, including the Hayabusa and GSX-S1000GX, with sales scheduled to commence around autumn 2026.

Masafumi Harano, Suzuki’s Managing Officer for Automobile Marketing, said Brunei was a promising growth market where automobiles played an essential daily transport role, and that the new mini-vehicle sized models would support further business expansion. Harano cited the launch as part of Suzuki’s commitment to provide mobility suited to local market characteristics.
Lim Jin Lee, Executive Manager of Boustead, said the 50-year partnership was built on mutual trust and that Suzuki’s ‘lightweight, small, and fun’ DNA had earned ongoing customer support in Brunei. Boustead was established in 1956 and has been a Suzuki distributor since 1976, selling around 1,200 vehicles annually.
